Volunteer Opportunties

Fundraising Volunteer

Help us fund what matters.

Strong partnerships and sustainable funding power our work. Fundraising volunteers play an essential role in helping us identify opportunities that support our programmes and long-term impact.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Researching grant and funding opportunities aligned with our mission
  • Tracking deadlines, requirements, and key application details
  • Supporting the preparation of funding proposals and key information
  • Building and maintaining a pipeline of potential funders

 

Time commitment:
Flexible, with an average of 2–4 hours per month

Ideal for individuals who:

  • Are interested in fundraising, research, or social impact
  • Are organised, detail-oriented, and proactive
  • Have strong research and written communication skills

Events Volunteer

Help bring our events to life.

Our events bring together leaders, professionals, and future changemakers. Events volunteers play an essential role in ensuring each experience runs smoothly and reaches the widest possible audience.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Capturing content (photos, videos, or social media updates)
  • Assisting with audience engagement or moderation if required
  • Helping promote events across personal and professional networks

 

Time commitment:
Once per month on Thursday evenings, 18:00 – 21:00

Ideal for individuals who:

  • Based in London
  • Are comfortable representing the organisation professionally
  • Are confident, proactive, and people-focused
  • Have strong communication and social media skills

PR & Comms Volunteer

Help us amplify our impact.

Our communications shape how our work is seen, understood, and experienced globally. PR & Comms Volunteers play a key role in elevating our voice, strengthening our brand presence, and ensuring our stories reach the audiences that matter most.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Supporting press outreach and media list building
  • Drafting or refining press releases and campaign messaging
  • Assisting with social media content and storytelling
  • Identifying podcast, interview, and speaking opportunities
  • Contributing to thought leadership distribution and visibility
  • Supporting campaign launches and key programme moments

 

Time commitment:
Flexible, approximately 2–4 hours per month, depending on campaign cycles

Ideal for individuals who:

  • Have experience or interest in PR, communications, or media
  • Are strong writers with an eye for compelling storytelling
  • Understand digital platforms and audience engagement
  • Are proactive, organised, and detail-oriented
  • Are passionate about amplifying diverse voices and impact-driven work

Research Volunteer

Help us turn insight into impact.

Research helps shape our programmes, partnerships, and thought leadership. Research volunteers support us on a project-by-project basis, contributing when specific research needs arise.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Conducting research on tech, diversity, and workforce trends
  • Gathering data to support reports, programmes, or campaigns
  • Summarising findings into clear, usable insights

Flexible and project-based.

  • Are organised and detail-oriented
  • Can present information clearly and concisely

No, this is a voluntary position, that has been created based on the demand from our community.

Yes, you can and we provide an introductory commission for any brand that chooses to work with us as result of your referral.

Yes, it will be made available after you have been approved as a volunteer.

Yes, if you do not comply with the duties you have committed to, bring the brand into disrepute or there is a conflict of interest.
