Welcome To The Legacy Contributor Programme

Unrestricted funding. Sustainable momentum. Shared legacy.

Since 2019, GTA Black Women in Tech has created to support Black girls and Black women in finding success and joy in tech.

This is what we have achieved in numbers

  • 22,000+ members
  • 500+ stories archived at the British Library and Barbican
  • Thousands of women reached through programmes, events, and cultural projects

What sustains this work isn’t just flagship projects; it’s the invisible, essential infrastructure behind them.

The Legacy Contributor Programme exists to fund and continue our mission.

One-Off Donation

Support GTA Black Women In Tech with a one-off donation to our organisation. One-off contributions are welcome at any amount, with recognition aligned to the giving level.

Why This Programme Exists

Our sponsors fund projects.
Our contributors fund the movement.

Corporate partnerships are vital, but they come with long sales cycles, procurement hurdles, and short-term budgets. That makes day-to-day operations fragile.

Unrestricted funding allows GTA Black Women in Tech to:

  • Pay the people who do the work
  • Maintain programmes between sponsorship cycles
  • Move quickly when opportunities arise
  • Build long-term cultural and economic impact

This programme creates a parallel revenue stream that runs on participation, not permission.

What It Means to Be a Legacy Contributor

Legacy Contributors aren’t donors.
They are insiders.

You’re contributing to:

  • A cultural archive preserved at the British Library
  • A school’s programme placing books directly into young people’s hands
  • A platform shaping how Black women in tech are seen, supported, and remembered

This is about building something together, not filling a funding gap.

Our Values

This is not charity. It’s about continuity, ownership, and legacy.

Your contribution:

  • Puts books in schoolS
  • Preserves stories for future generations
  • Signals to young Black girls that people who look like them are building the future

You’re not giving to GTA Black Women in Tech.
You’re building it with us.
