About Mirabelle

Speaker Bureau headshots (35)

Mirabelle Morah is a creative technologist and motion designer. She is the founder and creative director of Grohwie, a Glasgow-based design and tech company that helps growth-stage startups and purpose-led brands launch products and build audiences through motion design and creative communications strategy. Mirabelle sits at a rare intersection. She designs. She codes. She writes strategy. And she brings all three together to solve one problem that sits at the heart of every ambitious organisation: the world needs to understand what you are building.

Her client work spans continents and sectors. She has led communications for the Social Enterprise World Forum, been on advisory roles with SAP, Chatham House (The Royal Institute for International Affairs), consulted for Stand.Earth. She’s delivered results that include a 75% email open rate on a global campaign, more than double the industry standard. She is the founder of the Grohwie Design Fellowship, a programme mentoring the next generation of design talents in business skills.

Mirabelle began building in public at 17, when she founded BlankPaperz Media in Calabar, Nigeria, with her own pocket money and no team. The platform grew to over 100,000 web users and 200 contributing writers, catalysed N1.7 million in philanthropic support for young people, and earned recognition from the BBC, the Malala Fund, the British Council, and the US State Department. She holds an MSc in Entrepreneurship and Innovation from the University of Edinburgh, as a Mastercard Foundation Scholar and recipient of the Edinburgh Award in Business Global Employability. She is a Skoll Fellow, a former Ashoka Changemaker, and a Global Teen Leader certified by the We Are Family Foundation. She believes the world’s most important ideas deserve the world’s best communications. Her work is proof that the gap between the two is closable.
