About Hana

Speaker Bureau headshots (2)

Hana Abdi is a global AI strategy leader, technologist, and advocate whose work sits at the intersection of artificial intelligence, organisational transformation, and inclusive innovation. She is recognised on the AI100 List (#43), national recognition for AI innovation and education impact, and is a 2026 everywoman in Technology Awards finalist in the AI Champion category. She has delivered keynote talks at the AI Summit in 2022, 2023, and 2024, and has been featured in Computer Weekly for her contributions to tech education.
Hana brings rare depth across the full AI spectrum: she is as comfortable discussing enterprise GenAI architecture and responsible AI governance as she is talking about the human side of AI adoption, the cultural resistance, the skills gap, and what it takes to bring people with you through transformation.

As Head of Technology & AI Strategy at 01Founders, Hana built the organisation’s entire technical operation from scratch, scaling to 5,000+ learners across software engineering, AI, cybersecurity, and DevOps. She hired and led teams of 20+, designed AI-powered assessment systems that improved learner outcomes by 95%, and delivered board-level strategy that shaped the organisation’s AI investment roadmap. Her candidates were placed at Apple, Snyk, Peloton, Just Eat, Fujitsu, and Skanska.

She has led a £600K Azure cloud migration six months ahead of schedule, built GenAI-powered platforms and automation pipelines for councils and scale-ups, and won a company-wide hackathon at Multiverse for an AI tool deployed across the organisation. She currently coaches 500+ apprentices across software engineering and data at Multiverse, working directly with enterprise clients to embed AI into their operations.

Hana is the founder of Bridge the Gap in Tech, a global community of 5,000+ members that has mentored over 15,000 people into technical and AI roles, running bootcamps and hackathons in partnership with Google Women Techmakers and AWS.

She speaks on a range of topics including: enterprise AI strategy and GenAI adoption; responsible and ethical AI deployment; building and scaling technical teams in the age of AI; closing the AI skills gap; and the future of AI-powered products and platforms. Her talks are known for combining strategic depth with practical honesty, grounded in the reality of what AI transformation looks like from the inside.

Hana is based in London and available for keynotes, panels, corporate workshops, and conference appearances.
