Elsie is a global HR executive. She is currently the Chief People Offer at Ubyx Inc, a role she commenced in February 2026. Prior to this, she was the People Director for Business & Commercial Banking and Corporate & Institutional Banking at Lloyds Banking Group. Prior to joining LBG, Elsie was a Managing Director at Citibank, responsible for HR for the Emerging Markets (Africa, Middle East and Turkey, Russia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan). Between 2012 and 2022, Elsie was the Global Head of HR for the Treasury and Trade Solutions business as well as the Cluster HR Officer for Turkey, Russia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan.

Elsie is a seasoned professional with experience in a variety of sectors including financial services, research and pharmaceuticals. Her HR experience spans talent management, culture, engagement, organisation design, effectiveness and restructure.

Elsie is an accomplished Executive Coach and was on Citi’s Coaching Faculty for EMEA. She was a Non-Executive Director of the Board of Hyde Housing and Chair of its Remuneration and Appointments Committee. Elsie frequently speaks at a number of Career Conferences, has consistently been named in the FT/EMpower Top 100 Ethnic Minority Executives List. A diversity and Inclusion advocate, Elsie was the co-Chair of Citi Roots, Citi’s multicultural diversity network in London.

Elsie is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and a member of the Association of Coaching (UK). She holds a Bachelors degree in English and Linguistics and a Masters Degree in Human Resources Management.
