Unette’s Biography

Unette has worked in the tech sector for more than twenty-five years, bringing a relentless customer focus to every role. 

Unette spent 20 years at data science and tech consultancies dunnhumby and CACI, where she led business units and multi workstream loyalty and customer strategy programmes.

Six years ago, Unette joined Mastercard, a leading global payments technology company. She worked on the post-pandemic transformation of Mastercard’s flagship microcredit programme, delivering sustained growth. Today, she leads the Customer Solutions Architects team for the Retail & Commerce sector in the UK & Ireland. Her team is responsible for developing a deep understanding of customer needs and for matching these with Mastercard solutions. 

Unette is passionate about diversity and inclusion and contributes to several initiatives. 

At Mastercard, she is currently the Global Co-Chair of the Employee Resource Group for employees of African descent. Previously, she led personal development programmes for Mastercard’s Women’s Leadership Network for three years.

Beyond Mastercard, Unette is a Board Director for the Inspiring Leadership Trust (ILT), a charity focused on helping vulnerable girls and women. She also advises Affinity Water as a member of their Independent Challenge Group and is a member of the 30% Club UK Steering Committee, taking action to increase gender diversity at board and executive committee levels.
