Tami is a creative digital Programme Manager with a professional law degree and significant technology delivery execution experience in top blue-chip global banking spanning 15 years.
She’s been with Barclays since 2018 and has led global cross-functional and virtual teams to deliver strategic technology objectives for the Bank.
She has a passion for lending her voice to positively fight against all kinds of injustices especially the marginalisation of vulnerable and under-represented groups and believes there is beauty in diversity and in diversity of thought.
As Co-Chair of Women in Technology (WiT EMEA) at Barclays it’s one of her responsibilities to demystify myths about women in tech and encourage women of all backgrounds to break glass ceilings. She is a tech champion who works with children to encourage young girls to consider STEM careers. Her initiatives as co-chair include bringing Year 8 school girls to the Technology campus to experience a day in the life of a Female Technician, hosting mentoring and empowerment panels for women transitioning from Ops to Tech as well as learning the power of social capital/personal branding.
You only live once, so she enjoys ‘dancing like no one is watching and living like it’s heaven on earth’ with her husband and their 7-year-old son.
