Suliyat Dauda is a shining example of resilience and determination. Transitioning into tech from an Economic background, she now provides clarity to organizations by analyzing data for well-informed and strategic business decisions. She started her career at BlueChip Technologies – a pan-African technology company that serves customers across the globe. Currently, she works as a Data Engineer at Electricity North West, where she crunches data from different sources to allow for business decisions for the company’s over 5 million customers across the North West of England. Beyond her professional endeavours, she is deeply committed to giving back to her community through volunteering. She was a pioneer Chairperson of the Bolton Data Community – a community founded alongside her fellow students at the University of Bolton in 2023. Her passion for making a difference extends beyond her professional life, reflecting her altruistic spirit and desire to create positive change. In addition to her professional pursuit, she is an accomplished Scrabble player, boasting multiple medals for her skills. When she’s not immersed in data or lending a helping hand, you can find her enjoying the tranquility of nature on a long walk or spending quality time with her family and creating memories.
