Shauna’s Biography

Shauna Roper is a strategic business executive with  17 years of experience in global financial services,  specialising in people strategy, operational  excellence, risk management, and cultural transformation. She has a proven track record of  navigating complex regulatory landscapes,  embedding inclusive business practices, and driving  enterprise-wide change.  Shauna blends strategic insight with lived experience, and from boardrooms to grassroots programmes, she has consistently driven transformational impact, reshaping how leadership looks and feels.  Having held previous roles as Chief of Staff, Global  Head of DEI and Head of Compliance for the Commercial Bank in a multi billion dollar  organisation, Shauna has advised Group Executives,  influenced Holdings Boards, and founded a women’s  leadership programme that led to measurable promotions and performance shifts across the enterprise. 

Beyond corporate leadership, Shauna is an EDI fellow at the University of East London, a Board member for a Non for profit organisation that specialises in tackling community issues, and delivers executive coaching to C-suite leaders and entrepreneurs. Her ability to transform businesses with a people focussed lens has earned her recognition as; Senior leader of the year at the Black British Business awards and Top 30 Inspirational Woman & Change Maker of the year, to name a few. Shauna continues to be a driving force in shaping high-performing, inclusive organisations that thrive in an evolving global landscape.
