Sandra Abrokwa Owusu-Kyerematen is a development enthusiast who is keen to influence change through technology, sustainable commercial interventions and strategic partnerships. Her experience spans telco, e-commerce, consulting and digital advertising across Africa, the US and Europe. She is particularly passionate about empowerment and leadership for women and young people and loves sharing her experiences and knowledge with local and international audiences.
Sandra is currently the head of emerging markets in the Strategic Web Partnerships team at Google and is based in Dublin. She was previously the country director for Viamo, a cutting edge social enterprise that supports NGOs, governments and the private sector to deliver impact through digital technology.
She holds an undergraduate degree in Economics from Agnes Scott College and a master’s degree in Social Business and Entrepreneurship from the London School of Economics and political science. Sandra is a Man United fan, a wife and a mother to three kids. She loves a good laugh and enjoys traveling and reading in her spare time.
