Rumbie’s Biography

Rumbie is a dynamic Data Analyst with a background in Software Engineering, passionate about transforming complex datasets into actionable insights. She has extensive experience in data management and processing, and has led large-scale projects using a robust BI toolkit.Originally from Harare, Zimbabwe, she has built an inspiring international career grounded in resilience, adaptability, and an unshakable belief in the power of continuous learning.Currently serving as the Self-Service Reporting Lead at Virgin Media Ireland, she works alongside data analysts, engineers, and architects to develop intuitive data solutions that drive business decisions. A Certified Data Science Practitioner and a Certified Java SE Programmer , she holds aDiploma in Software Engineering,  BSc in Information Systems and is currently completing a MSc in Computer Science with a specialization in Big Data Analytics. She is a passionate advocate for representation in STEM and frequently shares her journey to inspire young women especially those from underrepresented backgrounds to pursue careers in technology and data science. Through resilience, continuous learning, and a growth mindset, she continues to rewrite her story and empowers others to do the same.
