Rosemary’s Biography

Rosemary Dimakunne is a cybersecurity professional and technical business analyst/project manager whose work sits at the intersection of computer science, digital security, and enterprise transformation. Born and raised in Nigeria, she pursued her passion for technology through a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Computer Science, building strong expertise in programming, system architecture, databases, and emerging technologies. She later advanced her career in the United States, where she is completing a second Master’s degree in Information Systems with a concentration in Cybersecurity. Complemented by her CompTIA Security+ certification, Rosemary has developed a solid foundation in information security, network defense, digital risk management, and secure enterprise system delivery.

Professionally, Rosemary has led technology-driven initiatives across banking, fintech, and enterprise environments, excelling in translating complex technical requirements into secure, scalable solutions. Her work emphasizes operational efficiency, system modernization, and long-term resilience through strategic analysis and cross-functional collaboration. Beyond her technical contributions, she is an active advocate for diversity and inclusion in STEM as a member of Women in Cybersecurity (WiCyS) and the Society of Women Engineers (SWE). Her long-term mission is to advance AI-driven cybersecurity solutions that protect critical infrastructure in healthcare, energy, finance, and transportation, strengthening digital safety while inspiring the next generation of black women.
