About Ramat

Ramat’s Biography

Ramat Tejani is a multi-award winning marketing strategist, keynote speaker, community builder, and storyteller who also happens to be a woman in tech. She has over 15 years of experience across the technology, personal development, marketing, education, and charity sectors to name a few. She specialises in developing, scaling, and building inclusive and equitable teams and programmes. 

She was responsible for scaling Amazon’s biggest education program, AWS GetIT across EMEA, as their Education Programme Lead which is now running across the UK, Ireland, Germany, Spain, Italy, Israel, Greece, Singapore, and the US. During her time at Amazon, Ramat also sat on the board of the Black Employee Network where she was the Professional Development Lead. In this capacity, Ramat’s role was to ensure Black employees were equipped to progress within their roles and beyond. 

She is also the Chief Encouragement Officer of The Inspiration Box, a personal development lifestyle brand designed to inspire individuals to discover, embrace and nurture their truest selves, through content, talks, workshops, and intimate events. She recently did a TEDx talk titled The Transformational Power of a Personal Manifesto, where she spoke about the circumstances in which she came to create The Inspiration Box.

Currently, Ramat is the Strategic Partnerships Lead at Google. She is leading the charge to help diversify the talent pipeline through strategic community engagement. 

Ramat has a Master of Science in Organisational Change and Management Consultancy from Birkbeck, University of London. She also earned a Bachelor of Arts in International Business from the University of Hertfordshire. And she recently earned a Master of Science in Applied Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology from the University of East London.
