Oyetola Florence Idowu is an IT Business Analyst with NHS South, Central and West (SCW), recognised for her leadership at the intersection of technology, healthcare, and artificial intelligence. With a background in engineering, she is a researcher and award-winning tech advocate, and she is deeply committed to ethical, inclusive innovation and creating pathways for Black women in tech. She holds a degree in Computer Engineering and a dual master’s in Computer Science and Big Data Analytics from the University of Derby with distinction, alongside globally recognised certifications including Agile, Scrum, Lean Six Sigma, ITIL, and Microsoft Professional credentials.
Within the NHS, Oyetola has led digital transformation and process improvement initiatives using Agile, Waterfall, and Lean methodologies, applying analytics tools such as Power BI, Python, and SQL to optimise healthcare systems. She serves as Co-Chair of the NHS SCW Green Network and a member of the NHS AI Ambassador Network. She was also nominated as a UK Global AI Delegate with GAFAI. As a professional Member of the British Computer Society (BCS), she serves as an early-career advocate.
Oyetola is a published researcher, speaker, Author and mentor. She was named a Face of STEM by Enginuity UK and a UK Tech Leader in 2025 by Influencer Magazine. She continues to champion equitable representation, STEM education, and responsible AI adoption.
