Nancy’s Biography

Nancy Masila is a Technology Risk Assurance expert currently with KPMG UK based out of their London office. I’ve been with KPMG UK for close to 5 years with my specialty being in financial services across banking and insurance sectors. Prior to joining KPMG UK, I worked in PwC Kenya for close to 3 years with the IT Risk Assurance Services business unit.

Having moved to London from Kenya in 2019 for work, with no family or friends in London it felt like I was starting life all over again from making new friends, settling into a new country and a new work place. I slowly engaged in meaningful community initiatives within the Kenyan professionals’ circles organizing get-togethers after COVID which ultimately led to the formation of Jasiri Network in 2023.

Jasiri Network is a community for Professional African Diaspora that provides professional networks, social connections and sharing of valuable information in support of the community such as career advancement, financial empowerment, wellbeing and strong sense of community. Since being formed, Jasiri Network has grown beyond the Kenyan community which is where it started and has among its community Professional African Diaspora from various communities.

Jasiri Network has represented the interests of Professional Kenyans in the UK in forums with the Kenya High Commission and the Kenyan Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora which led to being invited to the Buckingham Palace for a reception with King Charles and being invited to speak at London School of Economics Africa Summit.
