Mawada is a Data professional working at the intersection of data, tech and business. She obtained her degree in Data Science from the University of Rochester. Since then, through extensive experience she’s been able to gain in depth knowledge about the entire data stack from ingestion and platform configuration to analytics and reporting. She specialises in bridging technical and business teams to improve collaboration across complex data systems, with a particular focus on how culture, communication, and systems design shape the success of data initiatives. Beyond the technical work, she is a passionate advocate for authentic leadership and self-advocacy in tech careers. She believes that professional growth shouldn’t require self-erasure and actively mentors women in tech to develop strong professional identities while navigating the complexities of the industry. Through her mentorship, writing and speaking, she creates space for honest conversations about what it really takes to build influence, lead authentically, and thrive without compromise.
