Kanesha’s Biography

After graduating from Queen Mary University with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Kanesha took on a recruitment role where an encounter with a woman in tech sparked her interest in the field. She boldly transitioned into technology through QA’s 9-week DevOps bootcamp and secured a platform engineer position five months after completion. Over the last three years, Kanesha has earned multiple cloud certifications, strengthened her technical skills, and secured places in various programs including Elevate Her Tech Leadership Mentorship, AWS She Builds, AWS re:Invent All Builders Welcome Grant, and most recently, Seidea’s 2025 Cyber Bootcamp.
Above all, Kanesha is passionate about creating pathways for diverse talent in technology.She uses her voice as both a technical professional and spoken word artist to inspire others from non-traditional backgrounds to pursue tech careers. Her main goals this year include mentoring women pivoting into tech, helping them build confidence, working with communities to close the digital age gap, and developing her own cybersecurity skills.
