Juliana Oliveira holds a degree in Social Communications, Media, and Advertising. After more than a decade as an Account Manager in advertising agencies, she transitioned into the technology sector, focusing on people management and organizational change. In this space, she discovered her passion: driving positive change to foster more collaborative, diverse, equitable, and inclusive environments.
In 2018, Juliana led Enegrecer a Tecnologia (which translates to Make Tech Blacker), Brazil’s first hiring initiative for Black professionals in technology. This pioneering program gained national media recognition for its innovative approach to advancing the racial diversity agenda in the tech industry.
Her commitment to fostering inclusivity continued in 2021 when she spearheaded TWU Brazil, an immersive training program designed to support young Black talent and career changers entering the tech field.
At Thoughtworks, Juliana has held key leadership positions and currently serves as Global Lead Program Manager. A sought-after speaker at technology, leadership, and DEI conferences, she actively engages with initiatives and communities dedicated to empowering underrepresented groups in tech across Europe and Brazil.
In all her roles, Juliana is dedicated to creating meaningful, inclusive experiences that empower individuals and promote systemic change.
