Josephine’s Biography

Josephine Gyamera Kisiwaa is a software engineer and founder with experience in retail technology, including roles at IKEA and Unity. Born in Ghana and having moved to Spain at the age of ten, she has since lived across Europe and the United States. She is the founder of Loyatii, a consumer app that reached #6 on the App Store, and the co-founder of Your Choice in Engineering Matters, a nonprofit focused on expanding STEM access and mentorship for girls in underserved communities. Outside of work, she loves running, having completed two half marathons and currently training for a full marathon. She also loves cooking and exploring new countries and cuisines. Josephine builds user-centric technology guided by curiosity, empathy, and a desire to make the path easier for the next generation.
