Jessica is a pioneering black woman who has defied the odds in the tech industry. From a socially and materially deprived background in Peckham, she embarked on a remarkable journey fueled by her passion for technology. Despite not having a traditional IT education, Jessica’s determination led her to excel as a marketing apprentice, eventually working for renowned companies like Salesforce and the Financial Times.
Facing the challenges of being a black woman in tech head-on, Jessica overcame imposter syndrome and embraced self-belief. She has become a vocal advocate for diversity and inclusion, speaking at schools, universities, and corporate events. Recognized for her contributions, she has been nominated for prestigious awards such as the Multicultural Apprenticeship Awards.
With a Level 4 Diploma in Data Analytics and an ongoing pursuit of a Level 5 Diploma in IT and Computing, Jessica’s expertise lies in data analytics. Her innate curiosity, attention to detail, and ability to translate complex insights into practical solutions make her an invaluable asset to any organization.
