Hawa’s Biography

Hawa Kandeh is the Founder & CEO of AiTechTouch, powered by Globally Linked, an early-stage UK EdTech startup co-building a child-centred, ethical AI platform for STEM learning for children aged 5–11.

AiTechTouch combines hands-on STEM learning, inclusive pedagogy, and ethical AI design to support confident, curious learners  ensuring technology strengthens learning, wellbeing, and agency rather than replacing human connection. The platform is designed to work for all children, while being robust enough to support neurodiverse learners and SEND needs without segregation.

The company is currently delivering an Innovate UK–funded pilot, awarded a 96% assessor score, placing it among the top-rated projects in its competition round. The pilot is being delivered through schools, libraries, and community settings, with growing demand and a waiting list of schools preparing for post-pilot engagement.

Based in Leeds and operating across the UK with a global vision, Hawa is preparing AiTechTouch for its next growth phase, including early commercialisation, investor readiness, team expansion, and export development. She is supported by national founder and innovation programmes including Innovate UK, f:Entrepreneur, and the UK Export Finance x Lifted Ventures Female Founder Accelerator.
