Gayle Thompson-Igwebike’s journey from law to tech wasn’t linear, but it was intentional. With a background in journalism and healthcare operations, she discovered how technology could open doors that had long been closed to others. As Director of Next Tech Girls, she connected over 600 professionals as mentors and grew youth engagement from 6,000 to more than 10,000 participants.
Now contributing to the UK government conversations on digital inclusion, Gayle’s focus is on lasting impact–not just individual success stories, but long-term impact. She brings a multidisciplinary lens rooted in storytelling, strategy, and deep community connection, working from a core belief that: ‘Representation without resources is just symbolism!’.
