Christina Tueje – GRC Founder and Consultant
I am the Founder of a boutique London-based digital technology, data protection and cyber security consultancy. I’m also a Tech Career Coach, Mentor and STEM advocate offering employment and apprenticeship opportunities, connections, and valuable support to primarily other women in tech.
I’m obsessed with using my RegTech experience and my passion for ethical organisational development to help small or medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to start small but achieve big results and quick wins with data protection compliance. I’m equally passionate about supporting diverse tech talent through offering coaching and mentoring too.
My data management and data protection career started more than 10 years ago – starting out in data analytics, moving into data protection and organisational development and now consultancy and coaching.
Women in Tech need advocacy, support and much more visibility.
There are lots of initiatives to encourage women to enter the tech space, but we need more programmes to support them actively and proactively when they get there. We need more organisations to listen to the lived experience of women in tech to tackle the issues of burnout, the pay gap, the quiet quitters, and the glass ceiling, for example. And we need LOTS more platforms and opportunities to celebrate our success and achievements too.
So, my mission is simple:
To support and collaborate with allies and other Women in Tech, while supporting small business owners with data protection compliance, supplier diversity and developing diverse tech talent.
It’s very early days but I’m currently collaborating with another woman in tech to boost the confidence of other women in tech while encouraging organisations to develop listening ears. I’m also the Founder of UK Black Privacy Professionals – a professional network dedicated to providing a platform through which professionals who identify as People of Colour can connect, collaborate, share ideas, and support each other while challenging the lack of diversity in privacy related fields.
I’m hugely passionate about female tech leadership and I’m always open to supporting women who want to enter the tech space, women who want to progress their tech careers and female tech entrepreneurs too.
Don’t miss the chance to be part of our growing ecosystem.
