Amina is a backend software engineer with Mauritanian and Polish roots, passionate about building inclusive spaces in tech.
She entered the tech industry through a non-traditional path, teaching herself to code and proving that persistence, community, and curiosity can shape powerful careers. She’s driven by a deep belief that tech should be accessible to everyone — especially those who don’t see themselves represented.
Amina is a Google Women Techmakers Ambassador and an advocate for early career support. She’s an active member of Codebar, a community that supports underrepresented people learning to code, and she founded an internal community for new engineers, shaping initiatives like lunch & learns and inclusive hiring practices. Her efforts have been recognised through nominations for the Black Tech Achievement Awards and She Can Code’s Tech Newcomer shortlist.
