Ama’s Biography

Ama Annan-Fru is an award nominated Solutions Consultant with a background in law and a passion for technology. Of Cameroonian and Ghanaian heritage, she was raised with the values of resilience, determination, and excellence. Her mother’s 

journey—from facing racism in Liverpool to becoming a Chief Auditor—instilled in Ama the belief that barriers are meant to be broken.

After earning her law degree, Ama made the bold decision to transition into tech, determined to carve out a space where she could drive impact and innovation. Through self-learning, perseverance, and an unwavering commitment to growth, she navigated the challenges of breaking into the industry and now helps businesses optimize their digital transformation strategies.

Ama is also a passionate advocate for representation in tech, mentoring and inspiring the next generation of Black women to pursue careers in the industry. She has spoken at Black Tech Fest and was a finalist for the Inspirational Woman of the Year Award, reinforcing her mission to open doors for others and drive meaningful change.
