Ajo Balogun is a transformative social impact leader and Employability Strategist dedicated to bridging the gap between education and sustainable employment for Africa’s youth. With a background in international development at the UNDP and Ford Foundation, she now spearheads large-scale workforce initiatives as the Co-Founder of Jobred a job accelerator that has equipped 5000+ young people with market-ready skills and as the Nigeria Country Lead for Power Learn Project Africa, where she drives the mission to train one million software developers Africa-wide.
An alumna of Durham University and Yale University, Ajo leads with heart and authenticity, purpose, and a deep belief in empowerment. She believes sustainable growth comes not from opportunity alone, but from building the capacity of young people to own their success. Her work reflects a simple conviction that investing in African youth is the strongest engine for long-term continental growth.
Outside of work, Ajo prioritizes wellness and resilience through yoga, jogging, and tennis.
