Leonie is an Agile Delivery Manager and certified Scrum Master at UCL. She specialises in Agile project and product delivery management and exemplifies the Agile principles and values; responding to change in sprints, customer collaboration, creating self-organising teams and a focus on working software. Leonie has experience facilitating, empowering and building cross-functional teams to deliver IT solution-based products and projects. In addition, she has proven to execute technology solutions to improve the staff and student services. She has also been nominated for ‘Outstanding team contribution to achieving our Mission’ at the UCL Professional Services Conference.
In the future, Leonie plans to work on products focusing on UX and accessibility, providing technology solutions that will give users a meaningful and seamless user experience. She hopes that her passion for technology will inspire more individuals to explore a career in tech. Her passion has been a key driver for her to start building a social media presence to help more black girls and women get into tech.
Leonie has been involved in various volunteering initiatives within her local church and community in her spare time. Past involvements have included working with food bank distributions, teaching children as a councillor at the local Pathfinders/Scouts club, assisting with health programmes targeting the local community and participating in fundraising for various charities. She also enjoys travelling, reading, and creating vegan baked goods.
