Chisom Jide joined Amazon in October 2020 as a Senior HR Risk & Compliance Immigration & Right to Work Lead EMEA. In 2022, she moved to Senior HR Risk & Compliance – LATAM Lead and is responsible for the support and growth of HR Risk and Compliance programmes throughout the LATAM region. Having graduated with an LLB Law and an LPC from the University of West England, Bristol, she began practicing immigration law for several law firms in London. Moving up the ranks from caseworker to Senior Corporate Immigration Consultant and Senior Advisor (Business Development), she joined Ernst & Young as a Global Immigration Manager in 2016. She was then promoted to Associate Director (Financial Advisory Lead) in 2018. Her last job, before joining Amazon, was as Senior Immigration Lead at Dentons UK and Middle East LLP.

Chisom is a Justice of the Peace for both the Magistrates Court and Crown Court for the North West London Local Justice Area. She is the Chair of the Advocacy Committee for the National Association of Black Compliance & Risk Management Professionals Inc. (NABCRMP) and has been on the board of trustees for several charities in the UK. She has also successfully completed the Prince2 Foundation course and is a qualified Scrum Master.
