Chinyere’s Biography

Chinyere Ofor-Chukwu is a dynamic professional with a wealth of experience in formulating health and safety strategies for driving safe systems in the workplace.

She functions as a Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) Advisor in her organisation where she plays a key role in proffering guidance and support on the revolutionary Fibre-To-The-Home project being launched across the UK. A firm believer in teamwork, she fosters collaborations with various working groups towards driving improvements in risk-prone areas of the Telecommunications industry. She was part of a (ROSPA safety-industy) gold award-winning team recognised for achievement in health and safety management systems.

She holds a master’s degree in Safety, Health and Environmental management and is a valued member of the highest professional body in her field. Independently, she has co-authored a technical paper and has contributed impact to various renowned technical workshops. She has been recognised for her outstanding achievement in mentoring new students and promoting diversity at her university.
Aside from the corporate world, she has worked with a group called Youth Alive where she inspired young teens on the journey to self-discovery. She actively coaches and counsels as a youth leader in her community where she has dedicated her life to inspiring young people on topics ranging from diversity and inclusion, empowerment, personal development amongst others.
