Bernadette Wilson is an experienced Account Director with an 11 year tenure working in the IT industry in various marketing roles. Her vast experience includes 9 years working for one of the UK’s largest IT Distributors, Tech Data, and she is well versed in the opportunities, nuances and challenges that the IT industry, and more specifically the IT channel, has to offer.
Driving sales growth quarter on quarter, producing a 40:1 ROI on marketing investment, and increasing Veeam’s partner base to an all-time high, are just a few of the quantifiable achievements Bernadette has made over the course of her career. Whilst marketing forms the foundations of Bernadette’s passion, her tenacity and drive has proven her to be an unstoppable force in the world of sales. In her current recent role as Account Director at ResourceiT, one of the UK’s most well-respected channel marketing agencies, Bernadette was a significant contributor to the agency achieving its highest turnover to date.
A champion for racial equality and diversity, Bernadette has worked tirelessly for the last 18 months to develop and establish the TC4RE community (Technology Community for Racial Equality). As the lead project manager, Bernadette has transformed what started as a mere vision, into a powerful community, made up of 8 other founding member technology businesses, that has been publicly advocated by the likes of Clare Barclay, CEO, Microsoft UK.
Bernadette’s passion and success has been recognised with award nominations, in three categories, for CRN’s 2022 Women & Diversity in Channel Awards’. Other award wins for Bernadette include Top 6 at Dell EMEA “Let’s get Digital” awards, March 2019 and a nomination for the Marketing Excellence Awards at the 2020 Dell UK Partner Awards.
