About Evelyn

Evelyn’s Biography

Evelyn Oluwole is a senior global sales director with over 20 years’ experience across media, technology, and brand partnerships. She has built her career driving revenue growth and leading commercial strategy for global clients across multiple industries.

Evelyn has worked in media sales for some of the world’s most influential organisations, including Time Warner, Bauer, Emap, ASOS, Viacom, Yahoo, the British Fashion Council, and WeTransfer. Her career spans both brand and media owner environments, giving her a sharp understanding of how decisions are made, deals are closed, and long-term partnerships are built.

She is known for her ability to turn conversations into outcomes. Not through pressure, but through clarity, consistency, and follow-up. This has led to her positioning as The Follow-Up Queen. The title reflects her belief that success rarely comes from one meeting, one email, or one pitch. It comes from showing up again with intention.

Through her work as The Follow-Up Queen, Evelyn reframes follow-up as a strategic skill rather than an awkward afterthought. She teaches professionals how to stay visible without being pushy, how to turn rejection into momentum, and how to build trust over time. Her approach is practical, grounded in experience, and designed for real working environments.

Alongside her corporate career, Evelyn is a speaker, mentor, and advocate for young people entering media and tech. She is particularly passionate about helping underrepresented talent recognise their difference as an asset and learn how to position themselves with confidence.

As a mother of three, Evelyn brings a grounded perspective to leadership, ambition, and balance. She understands the reality of building a serious career while raising a family and speaks openly about navigating both without apology.

Her vision is clear. To help people stop playing small after the first no. To change how follow-up is seen and used. And to support the next generation of leaders to build success on their own terms, with confidence, persistence, and clarity.
